How to request a refund (credit) from Chargeback.io for false alerts or billing errors.

If you see a charge (commonly $144) from New York, that charge came from Joinchargeback.com, a subscription cancellation service.
Chargeback.io operates from the United Arab Emirates (not United States) and does not bill consumers directly.
We are a business solution and will only bill you if you added a Balance.
Please contact Joinchargeback.com for those refunds.
How to Request Refunds for Alerts
If you cannot find an alert in your payment processor, mark it as Previously Refunded
, Failed Transaction
, Already Chargeback
, or Duplicate
.
The fastest way to resolve these is by filing a Manual Credit Request.
1. Types of Credit Requests
- Manual Credit Request: Start this from the alert modal or the Credits page.
- Automatic Credit Request (System Credit Request): Triggered automatically when criteria are met, but requires supporting evidence.

2. Submitting Evidence
When you submit evidence for a request:
- Our Billing department reviews and approves it.
- You’ll receive an automated approval / rejected email.
- If rejected, you will receive additional takes to take in the email.
- If approved, the credit is immediately applied to your Balance.
ℹ️ Reviews typically take a few business days.
When to Contact Support
If your issue is not covered by either Credit Request type, contact our support team with:
- Alert ID
- Screenshots (if applicable)
- Relevant details
