How to Find Out the Status of Your Enrollment

On the enrollment page you will see any of the following three status’ on above each alert provider:

  • Not added yet: You have not yet added the alert.

  • Pending verification: One or more descriptors are pending verification.

  • Connected: All descriptors are active.

To know whether a descriptor is active, navigate to the table below the alert provider.


There are two status’ for descriptors:

  • Green: Active

  • Orange: Activation pending

If at least one descriptor is active, the alert provider on your account will deliver alerts. Please refer to this screenshot as an example:

“other” has a green circle adjacent to it, meaning it is active. “Shopify Payments” does not. Since “other” is active, you can receive alerts for that billing descriptor. But not with “Shopify Payments.”

Tip: The time it takes for descriptors to become active will depend on providers. It will take around 5 days for descriptors to activate with Ethoca. However, we cannot provide estimates for RDR and CDRN.
