How to Handle Alerts That Have Not Been Auto-Refunded

You must manually refund transactions through your payment provider.

Chargeback cannot help with this process.


How Do You Know Whether a Transaction has Been Auto-Refunded?

On your alerts dashboard, you will see the following alerts:

  • Lost: Your transaction has not been manually or automatically refunded.

  • Attention: You need to manually refund a transaction.

If you have enabled email notifications, you will receive the following email notification:


What to Do After Manually Refunding a Transaction

You will need to set the alert status to Manually Refunded.

To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Alerts

  2. Find the alert that you want to adjust

  3. Click on the alert status; a dropdown menu will appear

  4. Click Manually refunded
