We collect some of the following information from all account users:

  • Billing address: Used for billing purposes

  • Debit/credit card number: To pay for chargeback alerts

  • Contact preferences (e.g., email): So we may reach you

  • Your chargeback account password: To log into your account

  • Your name: To know who you are

For more information on the data we collect, how it is used, and how to exercise your rights, read our Privacy Policy.

And if you are opting for automatic refunds with Ethoca and CDRN, we will require API information for your payment processor to refund transactions.

Ethoca and CDRN do not automatically refund transactions by design. Thus, Chargeback needs access to your payment processor/s to do these refunds on your behalf.

You can opt out of giving Chargeback access to your payment processor by only performing manual refunds.

We make it easy to disconnect your payment processor. Moreover, we do not save your payment processor's API information.

If you are in areas with data protection laws, you may cancel your account and remove all of your personal information that is saved on Chargeback. To do so, please submit a data subject access request.

Filling this form allows you to manage or delete the data we have stored.

How Do We Protect Your Data?

We keep your data safe through a system of organization-wide and technical security measures. See our privacy policy for more information.

If you have further questions regarding how we protect your data, reach out to [email protected].
