Follow these steps to find your billing descriptor with PayPal:

Access Settings: Click on the gear icon (Settings) in the top right corner.

Navigate to Account Settings.

2. On the left-side menu, click Business Information.

This is under the section Business Profile.

3. Update your business information.

Click Update.

4. Find Credit Card statement name

Scroll down the page until finding the section Your business information. Once you find this section, you will see two statement names/descriptors, short and long.

Click Edit to change this information (if desired).

5. Change your descriptor (not recommended)

We do not recommend changing the descriptor unless absolutely necessary.

For instance, if your billing descriptor doesn't match your product, service, or business name. This can lead to chargebacks because the customer does not recognize the purchase.

When you change your billing descriptor, your old transactions will no longer be visible.

Scroll down until seeing Credit Card statement name. From there, you will have the option to change the short and long versions of your descriptor.

Adjust this information, scroll to the bottom of the popup box, then click save.

How to find your PayPal ARN codes

It is not possible to find ARN codes through the PayPal app.

If your transaction was done through PayPal, and your bank requires an ARN code, you should contact PayPal's customer service.
