You’ll need an active Chargeback.io account to connect Recurly. If you don’t have one, follow this guide to create it.
How to Connect Recurly to Chargeback.io
In the sidebar, click Integrations.
Find the Recurly card.
Click Connect.
When prompted, enter your API Key and Site Value from Recurly.
ℹ️ If needed, set an auto-refund threshold to limit automatic refunds. See the Automatic Refund Guide.
How to Find Your API Key and Site Value in Recurly
1) Finding API Keys
In Recurly, go to Integrations → API Credentials.
Click Add Private API Key (top-right).
Enter a name for the key (optional: add notes).
Leave other settings as default, then click Save Changes.
Find your new key and click the eye icon (👁️) to reveal the Private API Key.
Copy the key and paste it into Chargeback.io when prompted.
2) Finding the Site Value
While in Recurly, look at your browser’s URL and copy the text before the first “/”.
Example: from
https://chargeback-test.recurly.com/..., your Site Value is chargeback-test.recurly.com.
