You’ll need an active Chargeback.io account to connect Adyen. If you don’t have one, follow this guide to create it.
How to Connect Adyen to Chargeback.io
Follow these steps to connect Adyen to Chargeback.io:
In the sidebar, click Integrations.
Find the Adyen card and click Connect.
Add your API key and Merchant name.
Click Connect.
ℹ️ If needed, set an auto-refund threshold to limit automatic refunds.

How to Find Your Adyen API Key and Merchant Name
Part 1. Go to API Credentials
To start off:
Select your merchant account.
In the sidebar, click Developers.
Open API Credentials.
Click Create new credential.
Part 2: Create credentials
In the pop-up for creating new credentials:
Select Web Service User.
Add a description (e.g., Chargeback).
Click Create credential.
Part 3. Copy your API key
After creating your credential:
Scroll to Server Settings.
Make sure the API key tab is selected.
Copy the API key from the box.
Click the Save changes in your Adyen dashboard.
Go to Chargeback.io and paste the API key.
Part 4. Copy your Merchant Name
After you’ve copied your API key:
In the sidebar, select the same merchant account you used for the API key.
Click your merchant name (above Merchant Account).
Click the Copy to clipboard icon.
Go to Chargeback.io and paste the Merchant Name.
How to Disconnect Adyen From Chargeback.io
In the left sidebar, click Integrations.
Find the Adyen card and click Disconnect.
⚠️ Disconnecting Adyen does not stop alerts. To stop receiving alerts, fill out this disenrollment form.
Important Notes
If the Adyen fails to match a transaction to your Chargeback.io dashboard:
Mark the Attention-status alert as Not Found.
