How to Connect Recurly to Chargeback.io

Follow these steps to connect Chargeback.io to Recurly:

  1. In the sidebar, click Integrations.

  2. Find Recurly.

  3. Click Connect.

  4. When prompted, enter your API Key and Site Value from Recurly.

Connection completes instantly in most cases.

If needed, set an auto-refund threshold to limit automatic refunds. See the Automatic Refund Guide for more information.

How to Find Your API Key and Site Value in Recurly

This section walks you through finding your API Key and Site Value in Recurly.

Part 1: Finding API Keys

  1. In Recurly, go to Integrations โ†’ API Credentials.

  2. Click Add Private API Key (top-right).

  3. Enter a name for the key (optional: add notes).

  4. Leave other settings as default, then click Save Changes.

  5. Find your new key and click the eye icon (๐Ÿ‘๏ธ) to reveal the Private API Key.

  6. Copy the key and paste it into Chargeback.io when prompted.

Part 2: Finding the Site Value

While in Recurly, look at your browserโ€™s URL and copy the text before the first slash (/) and not "https://".

Example: from https://chargeback-test.recurly.com/..., your Site Value is chargeback-test.recurly.com.

How Do I Disconnect Recurly from Chargeback.io?

  1. In the left sidebar, click Integrations.

  2. Find Recurly in the list.

  3. Click Disconnect.

The disconnection is immediate. After disconnecting, automatic refunds for CDRN and Ethoca alerts will stop.

Disconnecting Recurly does not stop alerts. To stop receiving alerts, fill out this unenrollment form.
