How to Connect Airwallex to Chargeback.io

Follow these steps to connect Chargeback.io to Airwallex:

  1. In the sidebar, click Integrations.

  2. Find the Airwallex card.

  3. Click Connect.

  4. When prompted, enter your Client ID and API Key from Airwallex.

Connection completes instantly in most cases.

How to Find Your Client ID and API Key in Airwallex

This section walks you through finding your Client ID and API Keys in Airwallex.

Part 1: Navigate to API Keys

  1. Log in to Airwallex

  2. In the sidebar, click Settings.

  3. On the dropdown, navigate to Developer.

  4. Once on the Developer page, navigate to the API keys tab.

  5. Click New scoped API key .

Part 2: Create your API key

  1. For the name, enter Chargeback.io Integration (recommended).

  2. Under the section, Account-level Permissions, select the account(s) you want to connect to Chargeback.io.

  3. Under the same section, find Payment Acceptance.

    • Under Payment Acceptance, only check Read and Write.

  4. Click Create.

Part 3: Copy your API key

  1. You'll appear on a new page, don't click Done until you've connected Airwallex to Chargeback.io.

  2. Copy the API Key (the first value).

  3. Copy the Client ID.

  4. Return to Chargeback.io and add both values.

How to Disconnect Airwallex

  1. In the left sidebar, click Integrations.

  2. Find the Airwallex card and click Disconnect.

The disconnection is immediate. After disconnecting, automatic refunds for CDRN and Ethoca alerts will stop.

Disconnecting Airwallex does not stop alerts. To stop receiving alerts, fill out this unenrollment form.

FAQs

What if I Lose Access to my Airwallex API Key on Chargeback.io?

If you need to retrieve your API Key again from Airwallex, you'll need to regenerate your key by following these steps:

  • Navigate to the key you created.

  • Select the key you want to manage.

  • Click Manage Key in the lower-left corner.

  • On the overflow menu, click Regenerate.

  • Copy and paste the new API Key to Chargeback.io.
