Authorize.net doesn’t provide billing descriptors or ARNs (or BINs and CAIDs). You must get these from the payment processor connected to your Authorize.net account.
How to Connect Authorize.net to Chargeback.io
Follow these steps to connect Chargeback.io to Authorize.net:
In the sidebar, click Integrations.
Find Authorize.net.
Click
Connect.When prompted, add your API Login ID and Transaction Key from Authorize.net.
Connection completes instantly in most cases.
If needed, set an auto-refund threshold to limit automatic refunds. See the Automatic Refund Guide for more information.
How to Find API Login ID & Transaction Key in Authorize.net
This section walks you through finding your API Login ID and Transaction Key in Authorize.net.
Part 1: Navigate to API credentials
Sign in to Authorize.net.
Click Account.
Under Settings, go to Security Settings.
Select API Credentials & Keys under General Security Settings.
Part 2: Get your API Login ID
On API Credentials & Keys, find API Login ID.
Copy it and paste the API Login ID into Chargeback.io.
Proceed to the next part (B) to create a Transaction Key.
Part 3: Create a new Transaction Key
On the same page, under Create a New Key, select New Transaction Key.
Check Disable Old Transaction Key Immediately.
Click
Submit.Check your email inbox for the PIN.
Enter the PIN in Enter PIN and click Verify PIN.
After verification, copy the Generated Key (this is your Transaction Key).
Paste it into Chargeback.io.
How to Disconnect Authorize.net From Chargeback.io
In the left sidebar, click Integrations.
Find the Authorize.net card and click
Disconnect.
The disconnection is immediate. After disconnecting, automatic refunds for CDRN and Ethoca alerts will stop.
Disconnecting Authorize.net does not stop alerts. To stop receiving alerts, fill out this unenrollment form.
